There is no longer any official free parking in Val d'Isere. |

Covered parking in numerous locations cost approximately 70€ per week. This can either be arranged through your accommodation or we can happily arrange this. |
Equipment for self drives:

Snow chains are imperative. These can be purchased in the UK or en route. If you don’t buy them before arrival and need to buy them in resort, there is only one garage and they cost a fortune! In heavy snow, the police often refuse access to cars with no chains. |

An emergency triangle, high visibility vest and spare light bulbs are expected for travel in France.
