ACCOMMODATION
We do have in resort certain chalets and chalet hotels that offer childcare, e.g. Le Refuge de Solaise, Hotel Savoie and selected quality/luxury chalets. Ask for details.
CHILDRENS SKI SCHOOL
Under 3: Private lessons available
3 years: Private lessons are available. Also kindergartens can offer a mix of nursery and ski lessons/play.
4 years and over: Specialist children' s ski groups are available for all levels from beginner to competition.These can be anything from 5 x ½ days to 6 full days and with supervised lunches available if required
SKI/SNOWBOARD HIRE
Based on height rather than age, there is minikid equipment or children' s equipment from beginner to competition level.

The ski hire shop we use recognises how time consuming and, let's face it, stressful getting your family set up with ski hire can be and are on hand to help you as much as possible.

SKI PASSES
Ski passes are free for the under 8s - just take their passport with you when you buy yours to pick up their pass. Discounted rates are available for those aged 8-18 and family discounts are available when buying a minimum of 2 adult and 2 children's passes - please ask us for details. For the older members of your family, there are discounts too, from ages 65-74, and those over 75 go free.
DAYCARE, NANNIES & BABYSITTERS
Some hotels and chalets have their own staff to help look after your children, either during the day, in the evening or both. There is usually a charge for this, and will need to be booked in advance, but this does allow parents more freedom to enjoy your own holiday. Staff will often even escort children to ski school and back for you! Ask us for details.
New for 2024, Jelly and Ice Cream are operating a daytime Children's Playclub 'Popsicles' in Val d'Isere. they are based in the Portillo building, close to the resort centre. Alternatively, take a look at the Chalet des Aiglons, at the Rond Point des Pistes, for daycare options.
We also work with the specialist nanny/babysitting services in resort, below who offer a range of private care packages with qualified and experienced staff.
