The weather forecast and ski information are posted in English outside the Tourist Office.

Radio Val d’Isere (96.1 Mhz) also broadcasts the same information and the news headlines in English at 8.30am, 9.15am, 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

NEWSPAPERS

English newspapers, usually one day old, are available to buy at ‘Maison de la Presse’, ‘Tabac Presse lotto’ (both on the main street), and ‘Point Presse’ (opposite Hotel Aigle de Neiges, near the church).

FOOTBALL/RUGBY ETC

Bars showing English football include the Blue Note and the Hibou  

ENGLISH BREAKFAST - If you fancy a Full English breakfast, try Le Petit Danois to fuel your day’s skiing.

INTERNET ACCESS IN VAL D’ISERE

Most places in resort now offer free wifi connections. Otherwise, for internet, try the tourist information. There are free hotspots throughout the resort including at altitude
